Freedom Won is a South African manufacturer of LiFePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) batteries based up in the Gauteng province. CPi Sustainable Energy Solutions uses FreedomWon Batteries through our alliance with VAC Solar, which forms part of Freedom Won’s distribution network being an official distributor of their comprehensive range of batteries. These include from a small 12V, 7.5Ah battery all the way up to 2500kWh models. Upon request, larger applications can be quoted for.
One of the things that sets Freedom Won apart from the opposition is that they have a single self-contained battery available for your specific application. If however you need to upgrade an existing system, their batteries are also stackable up to 20 units of the same size in master slave configuration.
Freedom Won’s Lite range of 52V LiFePO4 batteries are specifically suited for Solar PV system applications. The small 5kWh up to 30kWh models are slim and compact for either floor or wall mounting. The 40kWh upwards are floor standing units.

Freedom won
The standard Lite range of battery enclosures are robust, attractive and have high quality white powder coating and with weld free corners. Feet comes as standard, handles on the 20kWh units downwards and permanent eye bolts on the 30kWh units upwards. Uprated DC power cables are included with the battery for connecting to the inverter and solar charge controller. On-board SoC (State of Charge) indication and On/Off buttons with added lightning protection and fail to safe. The DC circuit is protected with an uprated shunt trip circuit breaker and the internal electronics are protected from power spikes or over voltage occurrences on the DC output.
